Thunderstorms and team building Scanned

Although the rain and storms did not provide a particularly auspicious start to the day of outdoor activities, we soon managed to forget about how wet and cold we were getting!

We started with dragon boating – an activity which proved to be much harder than previously thought! However our burning muscles were forgotten as we managed to catch up with the kayaking teams and splash them satisfactorily, although we did get pretty soaked in the process.

After lunch we moved on to the paint balling session, again a pretty difficult activity to have any success in! Despite being shot twice in the head (!) I, like everyone else, had a great time both participating and watching the mistakes of others from the sidelines.

All in all it was an exhausting day, and we all returned looking a lot damper and more orange (from the paint) than we had when we set out 🙂
